HOLIDAY 2009 AND 50% OFF

Holiday 2009 is here! After a bit of a delay from an embarrassing circle cutter injury, I am back and ready to hit the holidays full tilt. This year, all photo cards are available on both Kodak Professional Endura Supra Matte Paper and as Cardstock Panel Cards. Panel cards will be sold in sets of 50, 100, 150 and 200 and will be added as an upgrade to your order.  As always, photo cards on Kodak matte will be available in any quantity (need 88 cards exactly? no problem!). Premium envelopes are always included. (do I sound like an infomercial yet?)

More designs will be added here and there as I begin to design around the orders that I receive, so keep checking back.  Like my style but don't see a design that exactly suits your photo, not to worry!always design around the photo. I'm obsessive that way; physically incapable of just dropping a photo into a design without tweaking it to suit the photo perfectly. Just drop me a line and we'll work together to get just what you want.

Oh, and I almost forgot. You still have two days to take advantage of our 50% off early bird discount! This promotion is not to be missed. See full promotion details here, then email me here to set up your order reflecting the discount. Then imagine the thrill of having your holiday cards all wrapped up by October 1st!!!

MY PAIN IS YOUR GAIN

Due to a freak circle cutter incident, I am late in debuting the Holiday 2009 line of photo cards. But never fear, because my pain is definitely your gain! I have extended the 50% off deadline to Wednesday, September 23rd. You now have an extra eight days to place your Early Bird Card order and receive 50% off! So start sorting through those photos or get your family outside and start snapping that camera! Remember, picture perfect doesn't always mean coordinating outfits in a scenic location. Just as often it means getting your family together in a place they enjoy and are having fun.

So, no excuses. Here's your chance to breathe easy and be oh so ahead of the game. Ready, set, go!

Holiday 2009 is now scheduled to debut this Friday, September 18th.

ACCIDENTS HAPPEN

at the worst possible moments, don't they? Oh, who am I kidding? There's never a good time for an accident. It seems I was not as careful with my circle cutter as I should have been the other day and ended up with stitches, a bit of nerve damage and an embarrassing story to tell. I will spare you the details and just say that typing with one hand is not as easy as it looks!

I'm hoping to have full use of my hand by midweek and will promptly return with new holiday card designs and an extension of the 50% off Early Bird promotion. Until then, go check out the Dreamy Giraffe's shop on Etsy. Her work never fails to make me smile.

HANGING JACK O' LANTERNS

Brilliant use for plastic jack o' lantern pails. Black spray paint, fishing line and you have big impact for little dollars. Love it!

BACK TO SCHOOL

Every year since Pumpkin's first day of preschool 7 years ago (7 years! oh my gosh how time passes when you're not looking), I have taken this obligatory backpack photo. Now that I have a collection, I think I'll matte and frame them and hang them down our hallway. Cute, don't you think?

That's much better. Smiling faces! They're happy to be in the same school this year.

"Please don't go!"

On the other hand, poor little Peanut was not happy this morning.

A new addition to my lunch box surprises: little flags in their sandwiches. I've got to keep them on their toes. They've come to expect sandwich shapes, notes wrapped around snacks, a hidden hershey kiss or two, but the flags are new and wouldn't you know it's the first thing they mentioned about their day. Success!
